Tony Telleria’s Indianapolis rallied from a halftime deficit to beat David Kukafka’s Denver 38–27, with Jonathan Taylor rushing for 115 yards and a touchdown. Anthony Tangorra’s Los Angeles AFC held off Paul Conti’s Las Vegas 35–29 as Oronde Gadsden collected 13 receptions for 153 yards, while Vince Trivelpiece’s Tampa Bay won 29–13 at Rudy Gobin’s Houston behind Chase McLaughlin’s five field goals.
Buffalo erased a 14–3 halftime deficit to defeat New York AFC 24–20; Josh Allen threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns, and James Cook rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown. Cleveland’s Andre Szmyt forced overtime against Baltimore with a 53-yard field goal at the end of regulation before winning it with a 50-yarder, while Cincinnati edged Jacksonville 23–20 on Evan McPherson’s final-play field goal.
Game of the Week: Chicago 41, Detroit 40
Chicago claimed the week’s most dramatic finish when Caleb Williams found D.J. Moore for a 2-yard touchdown with 30 seconds remaining to beat Detroit 41–40. The game featured eight lead changes: Detroit led 10–7 after one quarter, Chicago held a 27–23 halftime edge, and the Bears carried a 34–30 lead into the fourth.
Williams completed 19 of 33 passes for 252 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 41 yards and a score. Detroit received 115 rushing yards and 54 receiving yards from Jahmyr Gibbs, but Chicago’s final drive sent the Bears to 2–0 and left Detroit at 0–2.
