Strat-o-Matic did not make many changes to the 2022 game. However, here ‘s a quick look at the changes that they did make to the 2022 game. Note: you can find the complete rule set in your Strat-o-Matic home folder in the file Football Rules.pdf.

1. Squib Kick: If the Return card shows “Touchdown” use the Long Gain chart instead, but do not subtract 15 yards from the final result.
2. Field Goals: You can now attempt up to a 66 yard Field Goal (from your own 49 yard line), even if your kicker’s card does not go to that distance. The kick is good on a red dice total of “2”.
3. Must Run: On Must Run card results, the QB may attempt to get out of bounds as long as he is not being shadowed by an opposing linebacker.

That’s it! Like I said, not a lot of core rule changes this season.
