This post is primarily for the two wait-list members who elected to sign up for the Owls Tournament this year: Michael Reeves and Bob Mittleman. All wait-list members are included for visibility and for anyone who would like to follow along.

First Step: Team Selection

We are starting with team selection. A random roll was completed in Slack to determine who picks first; the high roll earns the first selection.

The results are in: Bob Mittleman gets to pick first.

Bob, please reply-all to the email chain with the team you would like to play for in this year’s Owls Tournament. Once that pick has been made, Michael Reeves should do the same and select a different team.

Tournament Preferences

There are three additional decisions to make, and we would love to hear both players’ preferences:

1. Should this contest run on the league Slack site or on the email Google Group?
2. Would you prefer a Best-of-3, Best-of-5, or Best-of-7 series?
3. Would you prefer to use the same teams throughout the series, or hold a snake draft of new teams for each new matchup?
